This illustration is the solution to a brief of genre-bending the American sit-com “Friends” into a Gothic horror set in the 19th Century. 

With Ross as the evil presence in the house, the atmosphere of the piece is tense and suspenseful, with the feeling of someone, or something, just out of sight.
